Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral therapy is a gentle way of working with the body using light touch, (over the top of your clothes).
Craniosacral therapy works with the whole person and changes may occur in body mind and spirit during and after each session.
People have described their experience of Craniosacral therapy in many ways, for example:
- comforting
- deeply relaxing
- a sense of inner peace
- feeling accepted
- feeling more alive
People come for sessions for many reasons, including:
- acute physical problems such as headaches, back pain
- longstanding problems which may be physical or emotional
Because it is so gentle and non-invasive, Craniosacral therapy is suitable for everyone from newborns to the elderly. Mothers and babies often come for problems associated with difficult or traumatic births. Letting go of tension and fear held in the body enables both to settle into calmness.
I was trained in Craniosacral therapy at the Karuna Institute and work biodynamically.
I adhere to the CSTA's Code of Ethics.
Craniosacral therapy is not intended as primary healthcare but to work alongside the relationship you have with your doctor.
